Why is Kenya Terrified of this man Miguna Miguna?
The reason people afraid of this man with the same name “twice” Miguna Miguna is hardly known. The flamboyant lawyer has been quite vocal when attacked over his conduct and character. In fact the political class is afraid of the exiled lawyer more than they are terrified of their gods. But why?
1. Miguna Miguna is a loose canon
If you have watched his interviews, this man spits venom when it comes to speaking the truth. He has, on numerous occasions, bashed famous Kenyan politicians on live TV, including Nairobi governor, Mike Sonko whom he described as functionally illiterate, former Nairobi county governor Dr. Evans Kidero whom he accused of “looting Mumias Sugar Company to its knees” and extending the same to the county. Surely he scares!
2. Miguna Miguna is highly inferior and insecure. He was a very ambitious person at a young age, which is seen in his excellent academic records and political relevance since the Moi regime. He wished to be a successful politician during the coalition government, but his fallout with Raila Odinga later made him insecure. The driving force behind his perceived influence and relevance became the struggle for superiority. This character can be illustrated by my low valuation of weaknesses, and extreme valuation for revolutionism, nationalism, glory, and power.
3. Miguna Miguna is also neurotic and chauvinistic. He perceives minor issues as hopelessly huge and usual circumstances as extremely threatening. You all saw the infamous interview he did with Esther Passaris during the last gubernatorial race. His depiction of the current Nairobi woman representative as a socialite bimbo looking for billion sponsors points towards a neurotic person looking for credibility through dubious means. His neuroticism was also shown in his book titled, “Peeling Back the Mask.” Miguna writes, “In this book, I expose Raila as a selfish, confused, hypocritical, and deceptive leader whose greed for power makes him unfit for the presidency of the Republic of Kenya.” From this statement, I conclude that Miguna Miguna is a mental case.
4. Uhuru Kenyatta loathes and fears this man in equal magnitude.
Miguna Miguna is definitely not afraid of the presidency; that is why he continually refers to it as illegitimate via his bare-knuckle and nutmeg attacks on social networking sites. He even went ahead to swear in Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga as the People’s President, which largely contributed to his current predicament. And btw he called Uhuru and Ruto “Demagogues” who have no respect for the rule of law. The president has to be afraid of the attacks this man unleashes and for this reason, he may not set foot on his motherland. Checkout one of his recent tweet.
5. Miguna Miguna is a scheming and manipulative individual. His long-term political life is entirely dependent on unique manipulative traits and abilities. He communicates with passion the deepest longings and needs of the electorate (He calls them “the majestic, beautiful citizens). He is also a master of precise timing, tactical genius, and the art of propaganda.
With the five reasons, Miguna Miguna is the enemy and obstacle of his return to his beloved country.
